Life is Short, Live it Now

Everything we do matters, and everything we don’t do matters. We have been given this precious life and it is ours to do with what we choose. We all know that tomorrow is never promised, but are we living our days as if they may be our last?
For most people, the answer is ‘no’. We often spend so much time doing the things we feel we must do, that we save the things we want to do for another day. We take the things that bring us joy and passion and put them off again and again. We think we will always have time. Our whole lives we have been taught about priorities and being responsible. Because we want to “be good” it makes sense to place our responsibilities first.
The truth is, you can do both.
So when we say, “Live each day as if it is your last”, we do not mean that we must accomplish everything on our bucket list today. What we mean is, stop putting yourself and everything important to you last because tomorrow may not come. In reality, today is the only day we ever really have.
